It has been reported that the number of deaths in areas affected by landslides in India has risen to 341. All India Radio announced this.
Three days after the landslide in the Padavettikunnu area, four individuals trapped there were rescued by army officers.
Large-scale loss of life and property has occurred due to landslides in the Wayanad district of Kerala as well.
Authorities state that rescue and relief operations in the affected areas are being carried out to the fullest extent.
