China points out that its development is an opportunity, not a challenge, for Australia. The Australia-China Industrial and Commercial Commission recently released a report titled “Benefits of Trade with China for the Australian People.” Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Lin Qian expressed his views on this report yesterday (2nd).
He stated that the report reflects that trade relations with China have brought great benefits to the Australian people, as evidenced by the cited data and information. China’s development is an opportunity, not a challenge, for Australia. Currently, China is furthering its reform processes and advancing towards modernization with Chinese characteristics. This will open up broader opportunities for China-Australia cooperation, Lin Qian said.
The Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson further stated that both countries aim to strengthen bilateral cooperation based on the agreements reached by their leaders.
